UNDERARM WHITENING CREAM
UNDERARM WHITENING CREAM
I am preparing for our trip this coming January in one of the best beach in the Philippines, in Boracay. Based on my research this place has the best sand which is very fine and white. I heard and read a lot of good things about this place. So I want this plan to be as perfect as possible. Of course my hubby will be coming with me.
I don't know why but every time I look in the mirror, I can see my underarms getting darker and darker. On my observation, the deodorant that I used last month did this. I already stopped using that but my underarm color still didn't came back to normal. I am afraid that my underarms will be dark permanently. So I looked for a solution for this.
Then I saw the Skinpeelshop.com Underarm Whitening Cream. At first, I am not really familiar with this product but there is something inside me that wants to try it. So I ordered it immediately.
Using the product doesn't need anything. All you need to do is to apply the product before you sleep. Just a thin layer. Then rinse it the next morning. That's it. But you have to use it every night to achieve the whiteness that you want on your underarm.
In my experience, I used this product for 14 days for me to achieve the color that I want for my underarm. And it really became a routine for me actually. I am applying it before I go to sleep and wash it when I take a bath in the morning. My underarms now have the same color with my shoulder and chest. My chicken skin are all gone. And I haven't felt any discomfort whenever I leave this in my underarm while I am sleeping. And there is no redness also.
To those girls who really wants to have whiter underarm for few days. You have to try this one. You can see the effect within 10 - 14 days depending on the skin color that you want. =)

Urban Decay Setting Spray Review
Urban Decay Setting Spray Review

Hello Lovelies!
Today's post will be a review on one of Urban Decay's most popular products - the All Nighter Setting Spray.
There are actually three setting sprays in the Urban Decay range so there is one available for every skin type:

I have combination skin but instead of going for 'Chill' I use 'All Nighter' which is the most popular in the range and suitable for all skin types.

I was initially a little wary of using a setting because although I wanted my makeup to stay on longer I didn't want to have a heavy, tight, sticky feeling on my face which I thought I may get from a setting spray.. how wrong I was! The spray works well as it distributes an even fine mist all over your skin. It doesn't feel cakey or tight or uncomfortable.. it feels a little wet when on application but it dries very quickly and you wouldn't even know you had used it. As the last step in your makeup routine it actually leaves your face feeling nice and refreshed.
Urban Decay have also got a patent-pending on the Temperature Control Technology of this setting spray. It claims to lower the temperature of your makeup so it stays on for longer as well as resisting moisture, so if you sweat, cry, get dehydrated or are in a humid, wet or cold environment your makeup won't budge.

This spray claims to keep your make-up looking as though it was 'just applied' for up to 16 hours without melting, cracking, fading or settling into fine lines anywhere (including face, eyeshadow and lips). This is quite some claim but I agree it is entirely true.
I haven't tested this for all of the above scenarios but I have been using this setting spray for quite some time and have never been anything but amazed by the results. My make-up will stay on from first thing in the morning to last thing at night without smudging, fading etc. The only thing I do find i have to do is either apply a little powder or using blotting paper on my more oily areas (mostly my nose and occasionally my chin) but these areas are particularly oily for me at the moment and I have to do this regardless of what products I use.

The packaging of this setting spray is pretty standard. It is just a white bottle with a purple lid but I like this clean, simplistic look. You get 120ml of product which lasts a good few months as you don't need to apply much at all. You are advised to apply this in a 'T' and 'X' shape which I sometimes do but to be honest it doesn't make much difference if you apply it like this or a quick circular motion, the results are just as good.

I also love that this product is oil free (as I have combination skin) and paraben free. It's always good if you can avoid chemical nasties!
This lovely product is priced at £19.50 on the Urban Decay Website but is also available at Debenhams, House of Fraser, Beauty Bay and Look Fantastic. Debenhams actually have 10% off their beauty and fragrance (this is definitely online.. I'm not sure about in store) at the moment too so you can get a little extra off if you buy it from there!
This is a product that will always be in my makeup bag.
*Note: I also always use primer under my foundation and eyeshadow.

:: It's time to Prime ::
:: It's time to Prime ::
A brilliant product on the market at the moment is the Nivea Express Hydration Primer.

This primer combines both a moisturiser and primer in one. Some people may be wary of this product because of this but I see this as a bonus because its a great time saver and it really works.
The moisturiser element in this product leaves my face feeling soft and smooth whilst the primer helps to prime my skin for foundation application. The consistency of this product is thin so it easily glides over the skin and it means a little will go a long way. The smell of this product is also nice. It is lightly perfumed so gives a gorgeous scent but isn't overpowering at all.
The packaging of this product is really cute. It comes in a little curved glass pot that really shows off the product. Two versions of this moisturiser/primer are available, one for dry/sensitive skin (the one with the pink lid) and one for normal/comb skin types (the one with the blue lid). You use very little with each application so the 50ml that you get would last quite some type. I would say easily a few months even with daily use.

I've been using this moisturiser/primer for around five weeks and in the last week I've had several comments from people saying how healthy I look. Without doubt this product has definitely been a contributing factor as I have been wearing the same makeup and have actually been poorly for the past couple of weeks!
This product is a bargain, priced at only £4.99 at Superdrug.

Nivea Age Defying Q10 Plus Hand Cream
Nivea Age Defying Q10 Plus Hand Cream

I hope you are all well and having a good week! Today’s post will be a short and sweet review on the Nivea Age Defying Q10 Plus Hand Cream. This is yet another hand cream I picked up on impulse but this time it wasn’t at the till. When I was buying my miniatures for my Portugal trip last month they were on a three for £3.00 offer at Superdrug so I was determined to group what I bought to make the most of the deal. I struggled to find a third product until I spotted this hand cream and as I wasn’t a fan of my current one I thought, why not?
The packaging of the Nivea Q10 hand cream is small but powerful. The bold use of the yellow and blue combination makes it stand out and the font is strong. I also like that the 30ml squeezy bottle is the perfect size for my hand bag so it is easy to take with me or store without taking up too much space.
Nivea Q10 is your typical lotion formula which absorbs quickly into the skin leaving it feeling nourished and smelling gorgeously perfumed. You only need to use a little, so this product goes a long way and it doesn’t leave a residue on your skin, oil or grease. As for the age defying aspects, I can’t really comment but maybe in thirty years time or so I will be grateful for using it due to the anti wrinkle claim… we’ll see! In any case, it won’t do any harm to be using this kind of product now and if it does help fight the first signs of aging even better!
I love this hand cream and I will definitely be repurchasing it. It is also a absolutely bargain at only £1.01 at Boots
What do you think of this hand cream? Which one is your favourite?

Clinique Superdefense Moisturiser Review
Clinique Superdefense Moisturiser Review

Hello Everyone! How are you all? The weather in the UK has been a little odd lately, one day is warm, the next it's raining, then it's snowing and so on. All this change in temperature etc has really taken its toll on my skin and I've noticed it has been a little drier than normal. My current moisturiser wasn't doing much to help this so I decided to invest in a new one, the Clinique Superdefense.
I'm always drawn to Clinique because of the fresh and clean radiance that seems to come from their counters but hadn't tried any of their skincare products before so initially I just wanted some advice. I spoke to a lovely lady at the counter and described my skin type and what I wanted to achieve from my moisturiser. From this she recommended the Superdefense range.
The Clinique Superdense range is suitable for dry and combination skin, it contains SPF 25 and arms skin to fight the effects of sun, pollution and emotional stress. This moisturiser also contains antioxidants and allows skin to protect itself from external aggressors.
Like many, if not all of Clinique's products this moisturiser is 'fragrance free', although when you smell it, it definitely does have a scent, just one that isn't highly perfumed like other lotions and potions you may have tried. I think this 'plain' scent would appeal to most people and personally I really like it.
The formulation of Clinique Superdefense is very light and a cross between a lotion and cream. It feels refreshing and cool when applied and glides easily over your skin. It also absorbs very quickly. In fact, I was really surprised at how quickly this moisturiser absorbs. I can be pretty impatient when it comes to skin products because I'm so tired when I get in from work etc so the quicker the application the better! The finish this moisturiser leaves is lovely too. Your skin looks hydrated but not wet, greasy or oily.
Lastly, the packaging of the superdefense moisturiser is lovely. It suits the Clinique brand perfectly with its clean, crisp lines and simple colour scheme. I love the combination of the green and silver and the cute, compact little pot. It makes this moisturiser feel special and expensive.
Overall I have been very impressed by this moisturiser since buying it a few months ago and I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin (I apply it twice a day).
The Clinique Superdefense moisturiser is available from Clinique and Boots at a price of £37.00 for 50ml or £20.00 for 30ml.
Have you tried this moisturiser? What is your current moisturiser?

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review

Hello Beauty Lovers!
I've been loving my lip products this month so I've got another to review for you today - Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain.
These balm stains come in adorable, sleek packaging which mimic the Clinique Chubby Sticks, however, the product itself I personally don't find to be a dupe. The Revlon version are a stain with a balmy texture whereas the Clinique version is more of a sheer tinted lip balm. I will do a review on the Chubby Sticks too sometime.
The Revlon balm stains come in a good range of colours, twelve to be precise, which all have really cute names:

Although many of the colours appeal to me I actually only own one and this is 'Lovesick', the deep fuchsia colour. Please note that I have described the other colours based on the colour in the tube rather than swatches or what they look like on the lips as I don't actually own them and therefore I cannot be 100% sure if the colour will be the same.

The texture of these stains is sheer but they are easily buildable making them nicely pigmented without being too overwhelming for people who may not like to wear very bright colours.. The balm like qualities mean they are very moisturising on your lips and easy to apply on the go. The stain aspect also means that they are long lasting so even after the gloss has vanished you still have a pretty flush of colour on your lips. I have found this pop of colour lasts around 7 hours, however, I would be wary of adding too much colour initially or as a touch up because when I did this the product did go a patchy as it came off. When I have used it more sparingly it hasn't been so much of a problem but as Lovesick is such a bright colour you do need to be careful. It isn't a product I would use and then leave to it's own devices.. you need to check on it every now and then to make sure you still have even coverage, although I expect this won't be as much of a problem for the lighter shades.

This is a product I really enjoy to wear because it feels smooth and nourishing on my lips. It isn't greasy or heavy at all. I also quite like the smell but can imagine it may be something that wouldn't appeal to everyone - peppermint. However, you cannot smell it on application and I haven't found this minty scent makes your lips fresh or tingle like other similar products of this nature. I also love that these are retractable crayons so you don't have to worry about sharpening them!
The Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are available at Boots for £7.99. I hope to get some more of these balms in the future... the hard part is deciding which ones!
Do you like these balm stains? Which one is your favourite?

MUA Cream Blush in Bittersweet Review
MUA Cream Blush in Bittersweet Review

Truth be told although I do like cream blush I don't tend to use it very often. I have no idea why this is but for some reason they just aren't part of my go to products. Despite this, a cream blush I am very fond of when I do decide to use one is MUA Bittersweet.
The cream MUA blushers are packaged very similarly to the powder ones so sport the same simple black and transparent casing which although isn't particularly sturdy is good for viewing the product without having to look at the name or opening the palette.
I was first drawn to Bittersweet because of the colour. The cream blush is a gorgeous bright blue toned 'Barbie' pink which at first glance looks like a scary shade in the pan but when you actually use it can be blended out to give you a nice pop of colour. The formulation is soft and silky but slightly oily so will be better for people who have dry or combination skin. I have the latter and find that once applied this blush gives my skin a gorgeous dewy finish which brightens up my face. I find the staying power of this blush good too as I can wear it for several hours without it fading or moving although it does last longer if I set it with a powder blush or translucent powder.
Priced at only £2.00 MUA Bittersweet is an absolute bargain and well worth the money. You can buy it from Superdrug.
What is your favourite cream blush?
